I can’t fault the machine for build quality and strength – it powered through the highest of rushes and left the paddock spotless. When coming over a big clump of rush all you have to do is slow down and give it a chance and it mulches right through it. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone and the extra money spent compared with the other brands is more than worth it for a quality machine.

Recommended. Nice heavy-duty flail. Worth the extra cost v Chinese cheaper flails. With proper adjustment of cutting height tackles quite long grass, thistle and bramble on steep ground. Engine starts first time with the key, better than endless cranking. Self-adjusting belts useful. Used with alpine tractor rather than ATV. 5 stars out of 5.

Chapman machinery is faultless.
From our experience, don't waste your money trying to save a few quid unless you are happy to spend the difference on endless repairs, lost time and stress. Pay just a little extra and get proper quality British designed/made.
Over the moon with our FM120pro Flail mower purchased in May, been using it all summer on rough pasture/bracken/reeds/ uneven ground literally ploughs through with no effort.

We bought a flail mower over a year ago - it is an amazing piece of kit. Initially bought to cut brambles and nettles back, but now also use it to cut grass with hammer teeth achieveing an almost lawn mowed finish. It is well built - obviously designed by someone who uses one - great Honda engine with seperate fuel tank which is great as other makes have an integral fuel tank above the engine which causes problems of fuel seepage into the sump (and for a friend this caused the engine to blow apart). It can also be mounted with an angled draw bar to offset cut. Adjusting the height of cut is really easy. We have the mulching bar attachment which works well.
