In our effort toward continuous improvement, we have recently invested in new welding screens for each welding bay in our factory. These screens represent a significant step forward in ensuring safety from arc flash radiation for both our welders and passing foot traffic.
Beyond improved protection from harmful UV and IR exposure, the individual screens also help to contain sparks and spatter within each bay, reducing fire risks and protecting nearby personnel and equipment. By clearly defining each welding area, the screens contribute to a more organised and efficient workspace, improving workflow and minimising the chances of accidental encroachment.
The new setup also supports better productivity, allowing multiple welders to work simultaneously without distraction, while presenting a more professional and structured appearance across the factory floor. This investment not only enhances day-to-day operations but also strengthens our compliance with relevant safety standards, reinforcing our commitment to providing a safe and well-managed working environment for everyone.
