We are steadily progressing on our new assembly building in which we will start to have a full production line for Flail Mowers and other equipment ready for the 2025 season to aid the continual growth of Chapman!
To help assist the assembly line, we have recently taken delivery and installation of a new 5 tonne twin beam overhead crane from Street Crane which will help speed up assembly and movement of machines within the workshop.
We are extremely thankful that this project could be part funded by Cornwall Council’s Growth Hub Grants Programme. The Growth Hub Grants Programme is part of the Good Growth Programme, which is delivering the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK by investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
