I have been working with my Chapman F120 mower for two years now and it has far exceeded my expectations. I bought it to ‘just’ mow grass and soon found it goes through pretty much anything I can drive my RTV over or through, mulching everything.

We bought the FM150 Pro flail in 2023 through Frank Nicol distributer. Faultless construction and service. The flail is amazing – very powerful and goes through almost anything, only getting bogged down in the most dense grass. We have the mulching bar installed which does work well. Two small improvements would be heavier duty jockey wheel (ours failed early on) and some protection on the winding handle as this slowly chips the paint off the barrel.

Had the FM120 flail topper on the quad a few years now. With its low profile it is an excellent machine with its heavy duty flails tackles brambles ,reeds and rough grass easily.. Plenty of adjustment for height and the Honda engine is very reliable.

Bought FM-150 with hammer head flails almost two years ago.
Total workhorse of a machine.
Not a moments issue.
Have clocked up 90 hours on it,

Would look to chapman again for any equipment based on the strength and design that’s in this mulcher.

I purchased the ATV bale trailer (2024) and the FM120 (earlier this year). Both are solid, well built machines! There are cheaper machines out there, but the build quality of the Chapman speaks for itself. The company couldn’t have been more helpful – I phoned up before ordering to ask a few questions and once since purchasing as I was struggling to locate a grease point. Each time I have spoken to someone with fantastic knowledge about the machines and have answered all my queries.

After months of research looking at other makes and cheaper makes we bought the Chapman round bale trailer. We needed to be able to move bales into the field over the winter and using a tele handlers was just making a mess. We opted for the twin axle version for the low ground pressure and the added capacity. The built quality is great, strong, galvanized and effortless to use with the remote electric winch. We run it behind a quad bike and this works really well. We should haver bought one years ago.

I would only buy a UK made machine as the Chinese alternatives just don’t have the grunt nor the build quality and I have not been disappointed. Fantastic piece of kit and I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Chapman!!

Excellent flail mower. Well built, good powerful Honda engine, easy to use and had no trouble going through 4-5ft deep weeds/nettles. Pleased and would recommend.
