Chapman Machinery Ltd are undergoing an expansion program with new manufacturing capabilities being brought in-house to cope with product demand. We therefore have a requirement for an Office Administrator to help deal with enquiries and general office duties.

All aspects of office administration required in the day-to-day running of a small manufacturing company based near Bude. As a small but expanding company this will be a wide-ranging role with scope for strong job progression as the company grows and expands. Duties will primarily real recipe be (but not limited to); dealing with customer enquiries, invoice and purchase order data management, management of goods inwards / outwards in conjunction with the company MRP system, improvement of company profile through promotion on social media, promoting the company to new trade outlets.
This role will suit a person with previous experience of dealing with customers, and with strong experience of MS office based products. Further training will be provided upon the company’s bookeeping and MRP programs as required.
Ideally this applicant will be available on a full-time basis, however applicants looking for part-time (min 30 hours / week) will be considered.
The Company is currently expanding it’s premises and production capability to keep pace with product demand, so the applicant will be able to grow and progress with the company as it undergoes this transition.
Training will be provided for required elements eg. Bookeeping software and MRP system.
This role is based at Chapman Machinery Ltd, Hele Barton, Week St Mary, Holsworthy, Devon, EX22 6XR.
Salary variable on experience. Minimum 30 hours / week. 28 days holiday pro-rata. Start date 1/3/16.
